Experienced chief technology officer Adrian Vera, vice president of operations Kelsey Friedman, and vice president of growth Sabas Rodriguez focus on empowering psychiatry practices to overcome rising administrative challenges and deliver innovative care while advancing real-world research.
Osmind, the leading partner for forward-thinking psychiatry practices, today announced strategic appointments to its executive team, naming Adrian Vera as chief technology officer (CTO), Kelsey Friedman as vice president of operations, and Sabas Rodriguez as vice president of growth. These appointments address the administrative burden that causes psychiatric practices to struggle financially and fail to offer innovative treatments.
"Psychiatric practices are under unprecedented pressure from administrative complexities that pull clinicians away from patient care and threaten practice viability," said Lucia Huang, CEO and Co-founder of Osmind. "As treatments like Spravato, TMS, and ketamine revolutionize mental health care, we're building a world-class team to develop solutions that will empower practices to thrive in this new landscape while contributing to the advancement of psychiatric research."
Adrian Vera, Osmind's new CTO, brings to the role over a decade of healthcare technology leadership experience, having scaled Aluna's FDA-cleared respiratory platform through to acquisition and driven Vesta Healthcare's rapid expansion in value-based care. At Osmind, Vera will spearhead the engineering, product, data, and design teams focused on developing intuitive solutions that address complex operational challenges facing psychiatric practices.
"The future of psychiatric care demands technology that removes administrative barriers rather than creating them," said Vera. "I'm excited to lead Osmind's engineering and product teams in building an integrated platform where clinicians can focus on patient care and stay independent, while our systems invisibly handle the rest. That's the vision driving our work."
Kelsey Friedman, elevated to vice president of operations, will oversee customer, life science, and network operations. Having played a pivotal role in Privia Health's growth from Series B through IPO—helping integrate over 4,000 providers across eight markets—Friedman brings critical expertise in scaling healthcare networks and optimizing clinical operations.
Sabas Rodriguez, promoted to vice president of growth, will lead Osmind's sales and marketing teams, focusing on expanding the company's extensive network of over 800 psychiatry clinics in the U.S. and bringing solutions to more practices in need. With 15 years of experience driving growth for healthcare technology companies, including key roles at ArisGlobal, Veradigm, and Practice Fusion, Rodriguez brings proven expertise in scaling healthcare platforms.
This enhanced leadership team represents Osmind's commitment to developing integrated solutions that address the disjointed systems and administrative overload plaguing psychiatric practices today, particularly those offering cutting-edge treatments.
