Baker Tilly Names Lynette Stolarzyk Bay Area Managing Partner

Coast-to-coast firm signals commitment to the Bay Area, as San Francisco-based Robena Jafari succeeds Stolarzyk as leader of specialty tax.

Leading advisory CPA firm Baker Tilly US, LLP (Baker Tilly) appoints Lynette Stolarzyk J.D., LL.M., as managing partner for the firm’s Bay Area market, effective June 1.

Stolarzyk will provide leadership, management and strategic direction to grow the firm’s Bay Area market. In addition, she will foster team member development and engagement, strengthening the firm’s presence in the community.

Stolarzyk joined the Baker Tilly partnership in 2015 and has held several leadership positions, most recently, specialty tax managing partner. She has extensive experience providing tax consulting and compliance services for public and private companies. Over the last 20 years, she has sat on both sides of the table, as an advisor and as a client, which gives her a unique perspective on how to address clients’ current needs and shape future opportunities.

Strengthening Baker Tilly’s leadership presence in the Bay Area market

Also effective June 1, Robena Jafari is promoted to specialty tax leader. She will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the capabilities of Baker Tilly’s specialty tax group, which brings together the practices of international tax, transfer pricing, IRS advocacy & controversy, state and local tax, research & development credit services, cost segregation advisory, transactional tax advisory, and tax automation.

Jafari has deep ties in the Bay Area market, having spent 15 years of her public accounting career serving clients in San Francisco.
