As Lizzy Smith, owner of Wonderful World Doodles noted, the King Bernedoodle is the newest and smallest Bernedoodle breed that is "ridiculously adorable, goofy, chill and very loving to all people and dogs."

King Bernedoodles are a mix of King Charles Cavalier, Bernese Mountain Dog and Moyen Poodle, Smith said, adding that hers are bred from a Cavapoo parent and a Mini Bernedoodle parent that are typically multigenerational.

"This helps us to have more consistency in size, coat traits and better health," she said.

As for why she decided to breed King Bernedoodles, Smith explains that the breed aligns perfectly with her mission to make the best family dogs for those busy young kid years where parents need low stress and kids need a best friend to grow with.

"I started breeding other breeds and have found over time that combining the larger Cuddle Cavapoo and Mini Multigen Bernedoodle produces the best temperament of calm dog who loves to be with their family, has low exercise needs, is confident, cuddly and loving to all and enjoys going on adventures," she said.

King Bernedoodles also have hypoallergenic low maintenance coats that are thick and silky soft and require less brushing. They also are healthier because of the hybrid vigor from combining breeds, which allows Smith to breed out health concerns over time.

"Their size is perfect to keep up on activities but not too big for your lap; typically they are between 20 to 30 pounds full grown. Also, they can come in so many beautiful color combinations with the most popular being the red tuxedo."
