AutoVitals Streamlines Scheduling with New Tekmetric Appointment Integration

Enhanced integration enables AutoVitals appointments to sync into Tekmetric's calendar to save time and ensure appointment accuracy.

SAN DIEGO, CA / ACCESS Newswire / October 23, 2025 / AutoVitals, the premier provider of digital solutions for independent auto repair shops, announced a significant enhancement to its appointment scheduling experience today: the ability for AutoVitals appointments to be written back into Tekmetric's calendar.

This new capability eliminates the need for shops using AutoVitals Appointment Scheduler to manually enter appointment details into Tekmetric. This saves service advisors several minutes per appointment booking and reduces the risk of human error. Now, service advisors can handle all new appointment requests and changes from AutoVitals Conversation Center - saving time and keeping all customer communication organized in one place.

The new capability is the latest in a series of planned integration enhancements designed in direct response to shop feedback. This ensures shops can leverage AutoVitals best-in-class DVI, workflow, CRM, and website tools alongside the shop management system of their choice without sacrificing efficiency.

The new feature is available now to AutoVitals customers on Tekmetric's shop management system who use the AutoVitals Appointment Scheduler widget on their website. While this integration provides significant time savings, there are a few important notes for shops to keep in mind. The AutoVitals Scheduler does not yet read live availability from Tekmetric, meaning customers are still requesting a booking time that must be confirmed by the shop. Additionally, once an appointment is transferred to Tekmetric, any changes made within Tekmetric will not automatically update in AutoVitals' Conversation Center or Scheduler. To use this feature, shops must enable exact appointment time selection in their AutoVitals settings.
