PHOENIX, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / November 14, 2024 / A recent study from SleepScore Labs, which analyzed 878 nights of objectively measured sleep, has revealed promising results regarding the PuroAir 240 air purifier. The findings indicate that the PuroAir 240 not only enhances deep sleep for adults experiencing allergies but also significantly alleviates perceived allergy symptoms.
Conducted with participants who reported nighttime allergies, the study utilized the SleepScore Max, a sleep-tracking device developed by SleepScore Labs, to assess sleep quality objectively. Results showed that the PuroAir 240 was associated with a 6% increase in deep sleep duration, translating to an average of 4 more minutes of deep sleep per night. Additionally, users experienced an 8% reduction in nighttime awakenings, contributing to a more restful sleep experience.
Participants also reported substantial self-perceived improvements in their overall sleep quality including:
Users reported a 57% increase in sleep quality when using the PuroAir 240.
Users reported a 61% increase in feeling satisfied with their sleep on a weekly basis, increasing from an average of 2.5 to 4 days per week.
Users experienced a 41% decrease in nights per week they perceived tossing and turning during the night and a 52% increase in feeling well-rested each morning.
Moreover, the study highlighted noteworthy reductions in allergy symptoms among participants. On average, users reported a 27% reduction in the perceived severity of their nighttime allergy symptoms, including:
36% decrease in sneezing.
55% decrease in runny or stuffy nose.
63% decrease in itchy nose or eyes.
64% decrease in red or watery eyes.
The PuroAir 240 achieved these positive outcomes without the need for invasive or pharmacological interventions, offering a comfortable, cost-effective solution to those suffering from allergies and sleep disturbances.
User feedback from the study was overwhelmingly positive, with 80% of participants indicating they felt that the air purifier helped reduce their allergy symptoms and improved their sleep quality. An impressive 100%expressed enjoyment in using the device, and 97% stated they would recommend it to friends, family, or coworkers.
"We are excited to see evidence supporting the effectiveness of the PuroAir 240 in improving both sleep quality and allergy symptoms," said Holly Rus, PhD, Head of Scientific Research at SleepScore Labs. "Data from our studies, like the one on the PuroAir 240, provide critical insights that enable sleep product companies to enhance their offerings and customers to feel confident in the products they buy."
