Financial Services Veteran Adnan Tanveer Identifies Critical Gap in Australia's Wholesale Investment Market

Financial services veteran Adnan Tanveer, with over 15 years of experience and $180M in facilitated transactions, identifies a critical infrastructure gap in Australia's wholesale investment market. Qualified investors face seven-month timelines and thousands in fees to access products they're already equipped to evaluate. Alongside co-founder Adam Newman, Tanveer is developing an AI-driven solution launching Q1 2026 built hands-on, not outsourced.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - Adnan Tanveer, a financial services professional with over 15 years of experience facilitating investment transactions, has identified what he calls a critical infrastructure gap in Australia's wholesale investment market.

According to Tanveer, sophisticated investors individuals who meet the asset and income thresholds under the Corporations Act 2001 face unnecessary barriers when accessing institutional-grade investment products.

"The typical process for a qualified investor to access a single alternative investment can take seven months and cost thousands of dollars in advisory fees," said Tanveer. "These are people with $2.5 million in net assets and decades of investment experience. The friction isn't protecting anyone—it's just friction.”

Tanveer holds an MBA in Investment Management from the London School of Business & Finance (University of Wales), where he attended on scholarship, and an MBA Advanced from Sydney Business School (University of Wollongong).

"I've spent 15 years inside this system," Tanveer noted. "The infrastructure was built when documents arrived by fax and compliance meant filing cabinets. Most platforms are running on codebases that are 10-12 years old.

The processes haven't evolved because the incumbents have no incentive to change them.” Tanveer, along with co-founder Adam Newman also an MBA graduate from Sydney Business School is currently developing an AI-driven solution to address these infrastructure challenges, with a planned launch in Q1 2026.

Both founders emphasise a hands-on approach to emerging technology. "We're not fintech tourists reading McKinsey reports about AI," said Tanveer.

"We've spent hundreds of hours building with these tools Cursor, Claude, automation platforms. That's how we know what actually works in regulated environments versus what's just marketing."

Newman, who brings digital marketing expertise and a background in making complex concepts accessible, added: "The technology exists to solve this problem. What's been missing is the willingness to rebuild from first principles rather than patch what's broken."
