At a time when the global community is increasingly focused on sustainability, responsible living, and holistic development, the OOJ Foundation hosted an evening in New Delhi that connected inner consciousness with global responsibility. The Foundation released its annual calendar and launched the book ‘The Fire’, part of its Element Series, at The Leela Palace, Chanakyapuri, placing emphasis on elemental purity as a foundation for sustainable human and environmental systems.
The event brought together diplomats, policymakers, corporate leaders, government officials, wellness professionals, spiritual practitioners, and cultural thinkers, reinforcing the relevance of spiritual and ethical consciousness in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The evening was graced by Ms. Nohely Salinas, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of Panama, who attended as the Chief Guest. A strong advocate of cultural harmony and holistic well-being, Ms Salinas’s presence highlighted the growing convergence between diplomacy, sustainability, and inner awareness. Her personal engagement with meditation and yoga reflects an emerging global understanding that sustainable societies must be built not only on policy and technology, but also on balance, mindfulness, and ethical clarity.
The OOJ Foundation, led by Yogi Priyavrat Animesh, Founder President, works at the intersection of consciousness, discipline, and responsible living. Addressing the gathering, Yogi Priyavrat Animesh emphasised that sustainable development cannot be achieved through external frameworks alone. He underscored the need for inner transformation, clarity of intent, and disciplined awareness as essential complements to global sustainability agendas.
The Foundation’s Element Series directly aligns with this philosophy. Each book in the series explores one of the fundamental elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space—as both a physical reality and a principle of consciousness. These elements are central not only to spiritual traditions but also to ecological balance and human survival. By examining elemental purity, the series encourages a deeper respect for natural resources and responsible engagement with the environment.
‘The Fire’, the latest offering in the series, symbolises transformation, refinement, and clarity. Fire, as explored in the book, represents the disciplined energy required to purify intent, remove excess, and bring focus—principles that resonate strongly with SDGs related to responsible consumption, climate action, and sustainable communities.
A contemplative reading from ‘The Fire’ was presented by Yuvraj Kaladitiyarajsinh Jadeja, a modern-day member of the distinguished Jadeja Rajput royal lineage of Kathiawar, Gujarat. His reading reinforced the idea that cultural heritage and traditional wisdom continue to offer valuable insights into sustainability and balance in contemporary life.
The gathering included several distinguished attendees from diverse fields, such as Dr. Surendra from the Embassy of Nepal, Shri Navratan of Bikanervala, Shri Manu Seth, Shri Kamal Singh, Shri Sanjiv Rao, Ms. Neha Kala, Dr. Parwana, Dr. Rahul Banerjee, and Dr. K. K. Sharma, alongside numerous wellness and spiritual coaches. Their presence reflected a shared commitment to integrating ethical awareness and sustainability into governance, business, healthcare, and community life.
A notable moment during the evening was the felicitation of Shri Sidhant Bhatia, whose music album ‘The Sounds of Kumbh’ has been nominated for the Grammy Awards. The album captures the spiritual and sonic essence of the Kumbh Mela—one of the world’s largest human congregations—through a lens that emphasises harmony, collective consciousness, and cultural continuity. The recognition highlighted how creative expression can play a powerful role in promoting cultural sustainability and global understanding.
The release of the OOJ Foundation Calendar further reflected the organisation’s commitment to conscious living. Designed around themes of balance, reflection, and elemental awareness, the calendar serves as a year-long reminder of the interconnectedness between human actions, natural systems, and inner values.
The evening concluded with the felicitation of guests and a book-signing session by Yogi Priyavrat Animesh, followed by informal discussions over High Tea. Conversations centred on how inner awareness, ethical clarity, and elemental respect can strengthen efforts toward sustainable development at individual, institutional, and global levels.
Through initiatives such as the Element Series, the OOJ Foundation continues to contribute to a broader dialogue on sustainability—one that recognises that the purity of elements and the clarity of consciousness are inseparable foundations for a balanced and sustainable future.
