Research.Lighting has formally launched a trade program for professional interior designers, architects, real-estate developers, and specifiers, following a period of internal development and early use.

The program provides access to trade pricing across the studio’s lighting collection, with multiple options for placing orders. Trade members may choose to log in and place orders online, or continue working directly with the studio by email or phone. There is no minimum order size required.
The launch marks a more structured version of how Research.Lighting has been working with the trade as the studio has grown. With an expanding presence across residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, the studio has collaborated closely with designers throughout specification, ordering, and production. The trade program formalizes that process while keeping existing working relationships intact.
Rather than requiring a single system or workflow, the program allows designers and architects to engage in the way that best suits their process. Online access is available for those who prefer a self-serve option, while direct communication remains in place for projects that require additional coordination.
All Research.Lighting fixtures are made to order and assembled in Brooklyn. The studio’s work is modern, minimal, & sculptural - centering on restrained forms and careful proportion, with an emphasis on clarity and consistency. The trade program was developed alongside this production approach, with the goal of making access straightforward and reliable across projects.
The formal rollout follows a period of development and use with design partners and reflects the studio’s continued growth within the design community. The program is now fully available to qualified trade professionals.
The Research.Lighting trade program is open to interior designers, architects, developers, and other design professionals working on residential and commercial projects. Applications are now available.
