Paget Racing Unveils New Drag Racing Bike at Dragstalgia 2024
Len Paget and team achieved a remarkable milestone with an upcycled motorcycle.

Paget Racing, led by the award-winning drag racer and Pro Stock past champion Len Paget, along with team members Reece and Kaz, has made a significant impact in the world of drag racing. The Southampton, Hampshire, England team recently showcased their innovative design and engineering prowess with a newly built drag racing bike tailored for the Old Stockers U.K. class.

The highlight of this accomplishment was the bike's debut at the Dragstalgia 2024 event held at Santapod Raceway in Northampton, U.K. During this event, Len Paget secured the Suzuki Performance Spares quickest reaction time award with an impressive 0.0648-second pass over a quarter-mile distance. This achievement underscores the skill and dedication of Paget Racing in pushing the boundaries of drag racing technology and performance.

Len Paget expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, "I was delighted to race the new Nostalgic Pro-stock drag racing motorcycle after several months of design and build using upcycled parts on a Suzuki GSX 100 EZ style originally made in 1984." His experience and meticulous craftsmanship were evident in the bike's performance, resonating with the team and the audience.

Reece Paget-Lowe, another key member of Paget Racing, shared his excitement about the bike's success, noting, "The team is delighted that the Nostalgic bike made it to the semi-finals where we lost to the class winner, Claire Rule. It's great news that all the parts were able to be upcycled, and the bike looks superb. Len Paget is a really experienced drag racer with around 40 years of experience and a skilled mechanic, so it came as no shock he raced so well at Dragstalgia."

The new drag racing bike, built with a focus on sustainability and innovation, exemplifies Paget Racing's commitment to excellence. The use of upcycled parts not only highlights the team's resourcefulness but also their dedication to environmentally conscious engineering practices.

Looking ahead, Len Paget plans to continue racing his nostalgic bike throughout 2024, alongside participating in other drag racing events and motocross races, including the renowned Bournemouth Beach Race. Additionally, Len will be supporting Reece Paget-Lowe in karting events, showcasing the team's versatile involvement in various motorsport disciplines.
