(the original Form 8-K) pursuant to instruction 2 to Item 5.02 of Form 8-K
to provide information that was not determined or available at the time of
the
report. The original Form 8-K was filed to report the appointment of James
E.
Rogers to CIGNA’s Board of Directors.

Mr.
Rogers will join the Finance Committee and People Resources Committee of CIGNA's
Board of Directors, effective immediately after CIGNA's 2007 annual meeting
of
shareholders, to be held on April 25, 2007.
