Item 8.01 Other Events

On May 17, 2007, Tyler Technologies, Inc. issued the news release announcing the re-election of the seven members of its board of directors at the Company’s annual meeting of stockholders held in Dallas and the board of directors increased the Company’s common stock repurchase authorization by two million shares, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, which news release is incorporated by reference herein.
