On August 4, 2005, Callon Petroleum Company issued the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1
providing information regarding the company’s operating results for both the quarter and six-month
period ending June 30, 2005.
As disclosed in a press release dated July 28, 2005 attached as Exhibit 99.2, the company
announced that its conference call reporting second quarter 2005 results would be held on Friday,
August 5, 2005 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.
