On October 27, 2006, Columbia Sportswear Company entered into a second amendment to its credit
agreement with Wells Fargo Bank, National Association. The amendment extended the maturity date of
loans under the agreement to July 1, 2008. The Second Amendment to Credit Agreement, filed as an
exhibit to this Form 8-K, is incorporated into this Form 8-K by this reference.
