DTE Energy Company (DTE Energy) Executive Chairman Anthony F. Earley, Jr. and Vice President,
Controller & Investor Relations Peter B. Oleksiak will meet with groups of investors in Los
Angeles, California and San Francisco, California on February 22-23, 2011. A copy of the slide
presentation from the meetings is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and will be available on
DTE Energys website, www.dteenergy.com on February 22, 2011. In the meetings and the
presentation, DTE Energy reaffirms its 2011 operating earnings per share guidance of $3.40-$3.70
per share.
