Recent Developments

Vessel Sales

     On September 20, 2010, DryShips Inc. (the “Company”) delivered the M/V Xanadu to its new owners for a sale price of $33.7 million. The Company expects to realize a book gain of approximately $200,000 from the sale of the vessel.

This Report on Form 6-K is hereby incorporated by reference into the Company’s Registration Statement on Form F-3 ASR (Registration No. 333-169235) filed on September 7, 2010.
