Persons who are to respond to the collection of information contained in
this form are not required to respond unless the form displays a currently
valid OMB control number.

CorVel Corporation (the Company) was unable to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended March 31, 2006 (the Form 10-K) within the prescribed time period due to reasons that could not be eliminated without
unreasonable effort or expense. Despite diligent efforts on the part of the Company to finish in sufficient time to permit the timely filing of the Form 10-K, the Company requires additional time to complete the review of its fiscal
fourth quarter and fiscal year 2006 financial statements and to obtain and compile additional information necessary to complete the Form 10-K. The Company intends to file the Form 10-K as soon as possible, but no later than the
fifteenth calendar day following the prescribed due date.

We anticipate that our financial statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2006 will reflect the following changes in results of operations from the fiscal year ended March 31, 2005:
Revenue for fiscal 2006 was approximately $266 million, a decrease of approximately 8% from approximately $291 million in fiscal 2005. Changes in other results of operations cannot be reasonably estimated at this time because
the Companys financial audit is not yet completed.
