Item 8.01. Other Events.

The Board of Directors of Macy's, Inc. ("Macy's") took action on March 2, 2017 to schedule the annual meeting of Macy's stockholders on May 19, 2017. The Board also took action to set the record date for stockholders to vote at such meeting to be March 23, 2017.
