Other Events. |
On November 14, 2007, we were informed by Southern Company that the proposed construction of a 285 megawatt integrated gasification combined cycle facility in Orlando, Florida, in which we were participating, was canceled. The cancellation decision was made by an executive committee composed of representatives from the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) and Southern Power, a Southern Company subsidiary, and was prompted by continuing uncertainty surrounding potential state regulations relating to greenhouse gas emissions.
