Resignation of Director

The board of directors (the “Board”) of China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Company”) announces that Mr. Lu Yimin has resigned from his position as the Executive Director and President of the Company with effect from 10 July 2018, due to change in work arrangement. Mr. Lu has confirmed that there is no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Board would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Lu Yimin for his valuable contribution to the Company during his tenure of office.
