On October 26, 2006, Placer Sierra Bancshares (the “Registrant” or the “Company”) issued a press release regarding its results of operations and financial condition for the period ended September 30, 2006. On October 26, 2006, the Company also announced the declaration of a 2006 fourth quarter cash dividend in the amount of $0.15 per common share outstanding. The dividend will be payable on or about November 23, 2006 to its shareholders of record on November 10, 2006.
