On April 20, 2005, Ampex Corporation issued a press release announcing that it has filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2004, and its restated Form 10-K/A for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2003 and Forms 10-QA for each of the first three fiscal quarters of 2004. A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1.
