Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 23, 2006, David H. Burke informed B&G Foods, Inc. that he intends to retire from his position as Executive Vice President of Sales effective as of a date yet to be determined in January or February 2007. B&G Foods plans to appoint Vanessa Maskal to the position of Executive Vice President of Sales effective upon Mr. Burke’s retirement. Ms. Maskal has served as B&G Foods’ Director of DSO Sales since joining B&G Foods in June 2003.
